Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's deer hunting culture, Whitetail Partners emerged from a rich legacy of hunting and an unwavering love for whitetails.
Embracing a philosophy of leading by example, we have honed our expertise through countless generations, showcasing innovative and time-tested solutions on our own property.
A Brief Timeline

2019: Founded by Sam Bilhorn with a vision to help others improve their whitetail property and enjoy success during hunting season through a systematic, professional design process.

2020: Whitetail Partners offerings expanded to include a virtual habitat plan, pre-purchase reviews, and 1:1 coaching for habitat improvements and hunting experiences.

2021: Within the first three seasons of business, Sam consults on 75 properties, covering 14 states and 7,500 acres of designs.

2022: In response to the demand and focus for regional expertise, Whitetail Partners introduced a team of four regional experts in MI, OH, TN, & GA to offer the same high quality planning to clients across the country.

2023: The Whitetail Partners team collaborates to design 10,000 acres across 25 states and pilots new services for roll-out in 2024.

2024: With a growing workload comes a growing team - three new consultants were added in 2024: Northern WI, NY, & KS. Our services expand to provide both real estate and land management to our clients.

2025: In response to the demand to serve clients nationwide - the Whitetail Partners Network continues to grow adding three more consultants including IN, MN and TX. With 10 members strong, land management services expand to build out a number of the plans developed in design.
